Dr. Barlis brings over 30 years of expertise and a compassionate approach to Footcare Now. He is dedicated to providing personalized care and building strong relationships with his patients. He began his educational journey at New York University, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology. He then pursued his Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine at the New York College of Podiatric Medicine in 1985.
Dr. Barlis further honed his skills during a two-year surgical residency at the New York College of Podiatric Medicine and affiliated institutions, finishing his training in 1987. He is particularly interested in sports medicine and geriatric foot care.
Licensed in both New York and New Jersey, Dr. Barlis is an active member the podiatric community. He belongs to the American Podiatric Medical Association, the New York Podiatry Society, and the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, and has held leadership roles within the New York Division.
When he's not caring for patients, Dr. Barlis enjoys reading and watching sports.
Femi Francis, DPM
Dr. Femi Francis is dedicated to providing compassionate and comprehensive foot and ankle care to patients of all ages. She belives in listening to her patients, understanding their individual needs, and developing personalized treatment plans to help them achieve optimal foot health.
With over 22 years of experience, Dr. Francis is skilled in treating a wide range of conditions from common foot problems to complex surgical needs. She earned her Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) degree from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine and completed extensive residency training, including specialized training in pediatric foot care. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Spelman College. She excelled as Chief Resident during her Primary Podiatry Medicine Residency at Coney Island Hospital and at Wyckoff Hospital.
Before dedicating her career to podiatry Dr. Francis served her community as a classroom teacher and worked with adults with disabilities. She combines her expertise with a gentle touch, ensuring her patients feel comfortable and confident in their treatment.

Stephanie Hochman, DPM
Dr. Stephanie Hochman is a skilled podiatrist with over 20 years of experience providing personalized care for patients of all ages. She focuses on tailoring treatments to each patient’s lifestyle and needs, ensuring the best outcomes for foot and ankle health.
Dr. Hochman earned her Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences from Cornell University and her Doctorate in Podiatric Medicine from Temple University. She completed her residency at the University of Pennsylvania-Presbyterian Medical Center, serving as Chief Resident, with additional surgical training at Englewood Hospital.
Her clinical interests include sports medicine, diabetic foot care, wound care, and maintaining patient independence. She also provides second opinions for surgical care. Dr. Hochman has contributed her expertise as a volunteer at marathons and during the 9/11 recovery efforts and has been featured in publications like InStyle and Martha Stewart Living.
Outside of work, she enjoys exploring New York City, knitting, reading historical fiction, and staying active through swimming and walking.

Dr. Kevin L. Ray, brings over 17 years of experience and a dedication to excellence to his podiatry practice. He is committed to providing personalized care to his patients in the diverse community of Queens, NY.
Dr. Ray began his educational journey at South Carolina State University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. He then completed his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree at the New York College of Podiatric Medicine in 2002.
He further honed his surgical skills through residencies at the prestigious University of Pennsylvania Medical Center and Drexel University College of Medicine/Hahnemann University Hospital, focusing on foot and ankle surgery.
